I grew up in the upper Midwest spending time in Minnesota, Kansas and Iowa. I grew up in the Lutheran church and loved being involved with many different aspects of church life throughout the years. I attended Central College in Pella, Iowa where I received a degree in Sociology and Music. After graduating from college I moved back to Des Moines Iowa where I worked as a credit card service representative for Wells Fargo and worked in my home congregation, St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Urbandale. After a year of working and living in Des Moines I discerned a call to the ministry and decided to attend Luther Seminary in Saint Paul Minnesota. I graduated with my Masters of Divinity in 2013. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is my first call and I am very excited to be here. I love getting to know people and hearing their stories. So if you ever want to grab coffee let me know! I enjoy playing music, reading, and being with friends and family.
